In my experience it's shockingly difficult to determine just how much an audio service is going to actually cost.
No offense to those who don't post their rates — or those who bury them somewhere six pages deep on their site — but personally, if a web site tells me 'contact for pricing' or 'call for info', I'm very unlikely to do that. I want you to know whether I'm the right fit for your project right away, without wasting any of your time and energy first.

Tracking + Editing + Mixing (start to finish)
$150/song
- I will bring my mobile recording rig to wherever you usually rehearse, or we can set up a time to record at my home project studio.
- We'll record your song(s) from scratch.
- I'll bring the files home and edit them for timing and accuracy.
- I'll mix the song and send you the final mix, ready for mastering.
Mixing Only

$100/song
- If you only need the recording part done, but have someone else in mind for the final mix, that's fine.
- I will bring my mobile recording rig to wherever you usually rehearse, and we'll record your song(s) from scratch.
- I'll bring the files home and edit them for timing and accuracy.
- I'll send you the separated .wav files to forward on to your mix engineer.
Extra Services
- Instrument Loan ($20/project) - if your instrument(s) aren't recording-worthy, I will bring one of mine along to the session.
- Drum Track Creation ($20/song) - if you don't have a drummer, I can create a pro-quality drum track for you.
- Session Playing ($20/song) - I can add guitar, bass, piano, synth, mandolin, banjo, or percussion to your song.
Custom Instrumental Songs / Background Music
- Compose an Exclusive Music Track ($100) - I will write and record an original composition in whatever style you request, and you'll have exclusive rights to use it in the future. It will belong to you alone.
- Compose a Non-Exclusive Music Track ($50) - I will write and record an original composition in whatever style you request, but I'm allowed to re-use or re-sell it in the future, so other projects might end up using the same song. Since I'm making it for you, you'll have just as much input and control as with the exclusive option. I just might use it again down the road after it's finished.
- License an Existing Music Track ($25) - If there's an existing song I wrote for a past client that would also work for your project, you can license it non-exclusively for $25. This is basically the catalog of everyone who chose option #2 above.
Podcasts — Recording + Editing + Mixing (start to finish)
$150/episode
- I will bring my mobile recording rig to you, or we can set up a time to record at my home project studio.

- I will edit the recording to remove empty space, 'ums' and 'uhs', distracting breaths, background noise, etc.
- I'll apply EQ, compression, saturation, de-essing, noise removal, and any other post-processing as needed.
- I'll mix the podcast and send you the mastered audio file, ready for distribution.
Podcasts — Editing + Mixing Only
$100/episode (up to 2 hours long)
- Send me the raw files of your podcast that you recorded yourself.
- I will edit the recording to remove empty space, 'ums' and 'uhs', distracting breaths, background noise, etc.
- I'll apply EQ, compression, saturation, de-essing, noise removal, and any other post-processing as needed.
- I'll mix the podcast and send you the mastered audio file, ready for distribution.
